Education and Buddhism in Mekong Region, MCU, Chiang Mai Campus
Chiang Tung [Kengtong] is located in Shan State,
the Eastern part of Myanmar.
Encounter back country
roads & visit the last remaining hill tribe village in Chiang Tung.
The rich culture and old
beautiful traditions still exist there, untouched by time. The root of old
civilization, friendly
people with simple ways of living, unique traditions and stunning architecture
of ancient monasteries
that have aged over the centuries can all be experienced.
